How To Measure

Finding the perfect size online isn't always easy. The fit of your clothes depends on cut, fabric and styling. By following our how to guide to measuring yourself and referring to our size charts we hope that you'll find the perfect fit here at M&Co. To ensure you get the right fit first time, we recommend you take your measurements more than once to average out the results.

General tips:

  • Measure yourself wearing underwear, not over your outer clothes
  • Stand straight and keep both feet on the floor
  • Allow someone else to measure you if possible
  • Make sure the tape measure is flat and level

Bust

Measure across the fullest part of your bust keeping the tape measure level around the back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist, keeping the tape taught.

Hips

Standing with your feet together measure around the fullest point of your hips at the top of your legs. This will be about 8-9 inches below your natural waist.

Inside leg

Measure from the top of the inside leg at the crotch to where your trousers will finish at the ankle.

Measure around the base of the neck where your collar would rest.

Measure from the top of the head down to the ground ensuring your child is barefoot with their feet flat on the floor.

Measure under the arms around the fullest part of the chest.
