Our Charities

M&Co is committed to raising money for charity and has done so with a Corporate Charity Partner since 2003, raising a total of over £1.8 million so far. M&Co staff vote for who their Corporate Charity will be every two years.

In the first year in 2003 the Variety Club was selected as M&Co’s Charity Partner raising £65,000. In 2004-6 the staff and Company supported Macmillan Cancer Support and raised an amazing total of £405,000. More recently, in 2007-8, more than £329,000 was raised for Breast Cancer Campaign (BCC).

Since 2009 the staff and Company have supported Cancer Research UK. By March 2011, over
£650,000 has been raised. Thanks to this organisation and improvements in the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer, thousands of people are surviving the disease who wouldn't have survived ten years ago. They wouldn’t be able to do this without support. They rely on companies like M&Co and the charitable giving of employees to help them continue their life-saving work.

Children’s Hope
One of our suppliers in Bangladesh founded the Children's Hope Charity. M&Co has made a long term commitment to this charity to help change the lives of some of the people in Bangladesh.

M&Co sponsors 25 children in slum areas to provide them with full time education from primary through to university as well as health care for themselves and their families. So far five students have already passed their exams and been accepted into college.
