We always strive to do business in a way that upholds our beliefs. This is to source all products with integrity, showing respect for everyone we deal with and for the environment.
We offer equal opportunities to all employees without reference to age, sex, disability or ethnicity and only work with suppliers to hold the same beliefs.
As members of the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) we have adopted the base code as our own and strive to only purchase goods from suppliers who:
· Respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
· Have safe and hygienic working conditions
· Do not use child labour
· Pay a living wage
· Do not work excessive hours
· Do not discriminate
· Provide regular employment
· Do not allow harsh on inhumane treatment of workers.
We expect all suppliers to uphold the same and visit and audit the manufacturing plants to verify this.
Should any supplier be found to be in breach of this code, we will always offer to work with the supplier to develop an action plan to make improvements. Only when a supplier is unwilling to make changes would we cease business with them.
Our relationships with our suppliers are always based on mutual dialogue and respect and in many cases have been built up over many years.
